Peeping into Prague, Vienna & Budapest

Okie I already don't know where to start linking.

I have unfinished blogs like Mel trip & Supertree sharing/review back in 2012.

Now half of 2013 is well gone and yes I have been gone for good 6 months. Of cos I know I am not much been missed.

There was alot of happenings this year on my end. There are mixtures of goods and bads plus busy bug at work. But all didnt end badly that I am fortunate about.

There was many occasional flash feelings that are so strong I really wanna pick up my virtual life again. You know some stuff once you missed it especially feelings, you won't be able to convey it exactly and properly.

And married life has been really busy with household chores and otherwise candy crush ahaha that i hardly have time to on my lappy at home besides work. Yup no part time maid, or I suspect I will becoming hopelessly 'nua' or a chunky worm if I am not 'forced' with these domestic chores.

Ok la also save more money for next trip hopefully heeeeeeee :)

I specially love to share travels!

No luck in biting a silve spoon a birth, I thought some tips or travel trip info could help some in planning their free & easy trips.

Here are some pictures of my long wished desinations - Prague and Budapest. Vienna has been squeezed tightly in between cos it is supposed to be on the way.

Finally I have done back in Feb 2013 (very cold time) thanks to Emirates' promo fare :)











In Budapest, I specially stayed on Pest side and got a room with good Castle view that I can see day to night :) really happy...

Indochine SuperTree...

Wow I MIA for quite awhile.....say 2 months here in blog.

Well Not exactly really busy but occupied with new life and spending more quality time with DD at home :)

Finally some time to do a quick quick blog :)



Went Indochine SuperTree @ Garden by the Bay for Ger's birthday ......
We have been talking about going there for months! But it was just opened in Sept 2012...finally!



And fun continue after .....dinner... heeee..

Dinners + Dinners

Realised I havent blog for awhile. You won't believe I am sooo busy having major dinners beside normal life.

Firstly was busy till I didnt have time to visit salon for a proper hair treatment and dye and last minute DD helped me to colour my hair with Liese bubbles on the day I need to attend wedding dinner! Very Garang.



So make up is up after the hair colour and was so happy to get to use my new urban decay glide on eyeliner.


At Crowe Hotel at Changi Airport! Gotta drive my parents all the way to attend cuz's wedding.



It was my first visit to the hotel and yup the ballroom is nice.

My uncle, auntie and cousins! Really long time no see.

DIshes were generally good cos usually I have trust in Imperial Treasures.
But specially like these 2 dishes :)
Cold dish platter and Salted egg prawn yummy!




And I was told to do more practices before actually really comes hahaa... But my cousin's new prince is really good! He let almost everyone carries him. I like him cos he didnt give me any problem at all haha.


And its time for our SIM'S COUSIN POWER group pic! This is only probably 80% of the total gang.
And as a welcome sign to our new member!



You know probably not everyone will enjoy wedding dinners as we have to spend our weekend night for it and we do know how standard it is here in SIN, plus of course it cause a burn in everyone's pocket too.

But usually it is such happy occasions that pull people together. It is a good thing as nowadays friends are much more close than cousins or relatives.

It is such an ironic cos by blood, our bond can never be broken. But again it really seem more n more distance if the parting is longer.

I am happy to see them all again at least they all know that I am fat and doing ok for now hahaa.

THE NEXT WEEKEND

Getting ready again for yet another dinner. Wedding of DD's friend at Grand Copthorne Waterfront.

I love this pair of new earrings I bot from Isetan just one weekend at only about $13. I havent been wearing earrings probably for years...

Nice right?



And totally ready after the help of my strawberry sponge curlers! I like the soft curls.

I am quite lazy to put on false lashes nowadays. There are always different passionate phrases in my life.

Among the dishes, I find below something out of ordinary! At least a good surprise and good taste to me.




The sauce is more of sweet flavoured with plum taste. The mau tao is nice!

THE NEXT WEEKEND

My boy (brother)'s birthday! Did a steamboat to accomodate everyone.
We love this HK style steamboat in Katong. 





Not sure if you tried this fish paste noodle but it is QQ, yummy and very fun to do haha.

It is in my must order list for bigger crowd. My nephew loves it so much too.


Ya that is the cake for my brother not my nephew ahhaa... Just for fun. Cute right?


The other surprise he got was from our deary cuz sis got him is this weird Lavender plant!


This weird plant except the flower, is all edilble!
The 'soil' is made of chocolate/oreo bits and ice cream in base!
It was quite yummy! The pot was good to pass around among us for dessert hahaa...

NEXT DAY

My father in law's 70th Da Shou! (Birthday celebration) with 13 tables at Keppel Club - Peony Jade.

Was early to help them set up the Photo Montage presentation.



I have fun every week with strawberry rollers.




The little ones were so exctied too.


Min,  DD's cute little niece.


I was so surprised at the emcee's work! They were not scared standing infront of 13 tables's crowd and presented so well talking in English and Chinese.


My father in law was so overjoyed and all dressed up.

I spotted one of his happy collections :S


I love this dish....salted egg and wasabi mayo prawn!



And we were so pleased with the Shou Tao's presentation. Nice right?










Highlight for tonight was the photo montage presentation sharing on my parents in law's happy tour around the world all these years and still happily together.

Mum in law presented a kiss ! So Sweet hahaa....

It was indeed a busy night and I was trying my best to help in whatever I see or can as a new Tan member ahha.

Happy birthday to Father and hope he continue to enjoy good health and uncountable days in bliss, of course touring to places he havent mark his footprint yet.

Hopefully DD & I can be him them too in later age :)
