Gate Crash the Huats at CNY Party (2 Feb 2009)

Its Party again.

This time a cny one on 2 Feb 2009 at Jurong Country Club. A pretty huat date!

In fact as long as it is auspicious, i do not mind the more of these parties :)

The Lovely gals here....how can i miss cam chances with them!

i wonder if my tummy and my waist is the heaviest of the body now :(

CNY Jan-Feb 2009 - eat eat eat

It is CNY 2009 again!! Damn fast!

Its a happy posting!!

The reunion dinner is the most important meal to begin the CNY. This year the eve falls on the weekend thus, timing is no issue.

.

We dine out so that my parents do not need to worry about cooking and housework. They deserve this meal. No matter what we eat or where we eat, as long as the members are all intact = REUNION DINNER.

.

Good thing about eating out is no worry about wash up! Besides that we get to relax alittle outside with the CNY atmosphere to subsitute the silly TV with boring predictable program :p

While the restaurant is not ready for our reservation yet due to the usual cny crowd, we have fun alittle here and there and entertaining the destroyer :p

Then finally we got to eat! So hungry. The food was quite satisfactory at such a cny rush work/ catering quality. The mini buddha jump over the wall is good!

Then i was sending my personalised CNY msgs around....every word filled with tots straight from my lil heart lor! :p

Then it was the chinatown crazy pushing effort chew.....but kinda like a first reunion in a full force thus still kinda a happy thing ahha.

As it was bz bz Jan, i didnt manage to book the mani/pedi slot last minutes. I did my own nails on wee hours of eve lor! Paiseh! haha Ok ppl were asking me how come the top portion is dark dark. It is supposed to be shiny silver but i could only grab this bottle of thick consistency nail polish for nail art purpose. Ok my thrimming sucks! But it looks decent right :p

Magix also pocketed few ang baos that night! She is able to pay herself at Pet Lover Centre now, isnt it great!!

THE NEXT DAY - it was feast again...... (faint). Steamboat party! But i ate alot still.

I SERIOUSLY LOVE YUSHENG! I can eat it everyday for the whole cny season you noe?? After consideration that i got to wait for 1 whole year to eat that again, I rephrase : i might also able to eat twice a day for 15 days hahhaa!

3 Feb 2009 - Dear daddy's birthday!

We brought him to Zhou's kitchen at Anchor Point, Alexandra this day.

Ordered the CNY dinner with Peng Cai! Means all the good yummies in one pot. The very traditional HK style food! But in HK, it is available at all season, just that where is selling and if it is good.

After trying both peng cai at ah Yat Seafood restaurant and here at Zhou's, i now think that Ah Yat taste better for the peng cai :)

Give a try nxt CNY if you havent and if you dun mind the sudden increase in calories and cholesterol.

It is quite a cosy place, probably been at this branch, quiet and having individual building by its own.

The Collage vs Jan 2009 ...

Jan 2009 welcome these little chills and dinners with the usuals..

This one here with Ger and Cold joke early mid Jan at this Thai restaurant or chill place situated at Alexandra area. I cant recall the name haha.

But the thai food taste good!


Then another one in mid Jan when Neru Chan having little farewell chill here b4 the chap leaves for Japan for an mission impossible! He brought me to this nice chill place in dempsey.

Then cold joke and ger came down too and i brought them to Angel's share where they liked it!
Had some snacks and red wine. The night i remembered cold joke's white shirt urge for some red wine too ahhaa. Well when women is excited in conversations, accident do happens :p

Here the sweet guys gave me a little buffet treat at the Carousel Restaurant at Royal Plaza on Scotts. The stuff are nice there, i like the sashimi, salad and dessert thou i am not a very dessert person.

Heard that this is only hotel with full halal cert meaning you could not even smoke in the hotel at all but surprising serving really nice food at reasonable rate.

The more perfect it is, the more imperfect it becomes (24 Apr 09)

Today is just not the right mood, in fact from yesterday.

When you are grown up and step into the 'outer' world where all issues and faces gathered, you could see many nasty or ugly things or issues juz become ugly. Especially when you get to face reality, truth is totally ugly because it become so real that it slaps you on the face, leaving you stunned and still wondering what went wrong.

At times when you think of it, no matter how perfect you have been or how consistent you had maintained, others just tend to see results and concern about the last paragraph to wrap up, not the process non even the summary. Thus, if there is somewhere not so right be it your fault or not, as long as you related, that's it. All the good history will be wipe up.

I guess a contingency plan is always be considered no matter what is to be done.

Still if you could have thought too much on everything, it could just get complicated while it is still raw.

Isnt that irony?

Probably no one will understand the real problem here or even what is this gal uttering. But well just tots and feels derived from 'sometings'.

Reality is cruel.

The Late night movie (2 Jan 09)

We did a couples of stuff this day thou dinner is everyday business.

On 2 Jan 2009, Naruto and drama siao brought us to taste the infamous chicken wings at Seletar Air base.

The place is indeed nt easy to locate. I wanted to take pic there but it was getting really dark with minimal lamp post ard in the air base. But the food was suprisingly good with the beef burger, fried mushrooms and of cos their famous chicken wings with spicyness rating from 1 to 15.......!

Whoo. We had level 3 and i was near to crying. haha well i do not have a challenging tongue to spicy stuff anyway i mean not a fan but normal spicy stuff are edible to me i guess.

Cold joke & Ger later joined us and they took only level 1 after seeing my sweaty red face ahhaa.

Very nice dinner and we proceed to catch a show at Vivo then my fave place ahha.

OK so the show was like wee 12+ we gotta spend our time nonsense way until then...settled at Pacific coffee and here we are killing time with my cam before the show!

NO WAY it wasnt! OMG it was such a sad show abt Will preparing for his death with plan to donate all his organs to his list of ppl before that. sad..

To recall...once i did such a diary entry too but it was nt as saint as organ donors then. Anyway anything b4 2009 were history :)

The mystery yet shiny 2009

As i said in no time 2009 is standing right infront of me.

I re-write myself a brand new list of resolutions which got to be as shiny as the 2009.

Although economy seems worse and worse where no one seems to know the bottom this time round. No matter there is crisis or there are uncountable disheartening news, as long as we are still alive we have to give ourselves a target to get over it and re-position our angle of tots so each day will live according to our style, our way and OUR SAY!

Oh i have omitted the 2pit resolution of forgetting the past, as it is not worth to fit a slot on my important and brand list of new set of resolutions :) I thrashed that successfully Yeah!

Below are things that came to my mind for 2009 which i die die must do.

Special for 2009:
1) Start some biz, increase income by 50%
2) Brush up my foreign language
3) Decrease health risk - decrease alcohol intake :p
4) New knowledge - start a new course....(thinking abt which to do)
5) Save up for next travel plan :) (hope its not japan again)
6) finish the task list for my idol
7) Read books/news/words for at least 40mins daily
8) Reduce cabby rides by 50%
9) Decrease grooming expenses
10) Finish economics self study

Happens evey year:
1) Keep fit fit - Excerise
2) Regular meet up with friends
3) Regular dinners with family
4) More doggy walk for Magix
5) Maintain another -3kg....!
6) .......................
7)................
