DAY 2
8 May 2010

Who is the first to greet us always in the morning?
Its Miken!
I cant resist everytime I see her making pathetic noises......love to hug her warm body with our puffy looks in the morningsss...oops in the cold mornings.

Oh ya the hardworking bride and her team of ganbatte sisters are working hard on the next day's wedding event's cocktail snacks!
The greenie thingy in cups are mixed by broccoli.
Orangy thingy in cup below are mixed by basil and melon.

This is 3 kinds of flavour prawns - here this one is french curry...
Oh ya definately not spicy.

Nice hor! cherry tomato, cheese and bacons.

After done, stuff are ok to be left ourside including the drinks etc....its like chiller everywhere.
No melt, no ant! So convenience!
.

After helping out alittle on cleaning and cutting the prawns.
We went on to our lunch oh but the poor sisters are still working hard.
Here I heard the can is foie gras alike spread where you could eat with bread. They are vietamese so naturally there will be lotsa viet foods.
Below is viet sausages gtg with juicy salads.
They love salads, I am glad!

Moving out again some errands...

A nearby mall but seems to have most of the necessary things
Juz having fun under the sun here and there, here is a long stretch of eating place and a big cinema.
.
So seldom i love the sun but i enjoy the sun here so much, I didnt even remember if I slap some SPF on face today.
.
There is sun means less cold ahaha (shiver without sun)
This day is like around 10-15 degree.

.
We cross the opposite mall which seems more interesting.
Oh finally saw the subway here which we havent get our feet on it.....pray pray I will board you soon soon.

.
Oh yea H & M !!!!!
In case some havent see the H&M like me yet hahahaaa no shame...
Here is one H&M which I had my first entrance too :)
But H&M is already available in Japan and HK now!
Tokyo is my next attack!

Things are getting summer now...

Its not ex really...I attacked my wallet for the first time....I wiped everything I am keen without trying, including kids' stuff!
Lets' not waste time!

Even supermarket Carrefour became our curious playground ahhaa
I love their apple wine which is almost drank on most dinners or lunches.

After we were out....look at the sky still bright.
Someone reminded us its almost 9pm, we had to go grab our the dinner.
wow no wonder everything has closed liao.
The sky will start to get dark only ard 9-10pm

Here uncle brought us to a vietnamese rstn knowing we like viet food too :)
Thats my fave viet dry noodles.

For your references here are some of the price on the menu...but dun ask me what they are.

It become a habit gradually its sleep after dinner as usually dinner starts from 9pm onwards.
Furthermore i perform really well in eating during winter-spring
Day 2 of getting fat :(

DAY 3
8 May 2010
(The wedding + my birthday haha)

Getting up early for to doll up alittle as well as to help out at the wedding.
.
Frankly I am really lost in the time in europe, if not for all the warm sms from my many many sweet friends....I probably wouldnt remember my own birthday cos everyday is like a same day to me.
Miken usually is my first photo partner ahaha she is soooo nice gal.

Guest starting to arrive.
As well as our groom! cute right!
.
Like chinese customs, he has to go through all these barriers at the door with some tasks handled by the trusted sisters.
But the bubbly bride doesnt stay in the room at all.

As well as similar procedure like the tea ceremony, ang bao as well as roast pig!
It is quite tasty too!

The 4 months old baby gal is their niece so cutie and sweeeeet....

Then setting off to the march in and dinner venue.

.
wow I duno where we are heading but we have to go through many of these yellow flowers farm before we reach......NICE!
We could smell the flowers through the windows...

Finally we reached this lovely cottage like house.
The place they rented for to hold their wedding.

Thing you actually duno, but the bride and assistances came here to do every single set up themselves including table set up and arrangements!

Luckily it is pretty good weather tis day.
Not too cold and no rain!
But I cant sit too long outside I will shiver afterawhile haha without my outer coat.
So I had to hop around to keep warm.

Walking across the river to the march in spot.

I heard they were discussing last minutes on things they gotta do for the march in haha
It was very interesting and fun actually every 'couple' team will 'march in' before the bride in different dance steps.
Some were very skilful while the others were really hillarious.
But none was shy - Thats their spirit!
Even the bride march in with their funny dance steps ahaha
Until some speech made in french which see everyone almost crying but too bad we cant understand a word except 'Merci' (Thank you)
.
Thats our best and favourite word.

appreciating the nature since we really cant ustd.

We were also very surprised to see firecracker ceremony as well ahhaa
especially this is a taboo in singapore.

The hard worked are served at last...
They are so nice, all thanks to the bride's strong and supportive lady team!!
Cheers!

Yes yes most are yummy.
I specially love the cherry tomato with ham and cheese so tasty. I ate 2 !! :p

Some other small baked snacks are made by their in law....so sweet.

even flowers are pretty vibrant shades yo.....

.
ENTERING THE VENUE AT LAST AT around 6pm
we were here since 3pm.
.
Pardon but I am not a very fine person ahha
So below is what i learnt from the french dinner.

Just remember to keep dining with the utensils from outward to inwards. :)
My name tag :) My french name?

Bottles of red, white & dessert wines and water including evian and perrier are always on table

I like this 2nd dish... appetiter, above is starter.
When you finished it u realise the bitterness at bottle is the alcohol in neat hhaa
bitterness come after soury sweetness.

I took fish as main so I was suggested with white wine not red :(
Bo bian.
.
You have to Q for the cheese and the dessert as there are too many types of cheese to serve, like 10?
Someone recommended me blue cheese to try cos its ex ....errr as I know my t0ngue cant take such high class fermented cheese....Its .... :(
Oh the salad is too oily too - too much olive oil thou its healthy.
The cakes are nice thou....there are diff in tastes you have sweet, very sweet and sour ones :) Very interesting combi in mouth when switch around.

Oh ya there were some games segments very funny and also so much dancing programs now I am very convinced french love dancings, slow or fast.

The bride and bridemaids had a special performance for the groom and audience so nice.

They really put in so much efforts in making the whole event works and making sure they friends and guest enjoyed.
I think brides in Singapore are sooooo much fortunate and pampered comparing to them.
It is not that the party is boring, but very paiseh to say, I actually was eating till i dozed off a few times unknowingly mainly food is served pretty relax pace and most importantly...
.
.
.
My body was sleeping and my mind was trying to stay awake.
JetLag is the word I realise ahahha.
I have never encounter jet lag before this...
.
Whatever ...see how late french weding party can end?
Actually I heard it usually ends like 1:30am - 4am.
OMG.....
.
Finally uncle brought us, the summer kids back to sleep before we fell us from our dinner table one by one ahhahaaa...

DAY 3
9 May 2010
Back to the sleepy place.

We are back here for BBQ
I guess like a thank you party for most.
They are really very careful in seeing each detail.

Oh pretty bo liao but these are plastic spoons! haha

Asian wun like some of their rice salads cos they used half cooked rice to mix in which you almost wondering the rice are cooked anot.

The very sweet father in law hardworkingly volunteered for the BBQ job.

Today is a pretty sunny day too...not cold :)
Great day for a BBQ actually.

Leftover cakes but still as good as fresh.

See why I say they really enjoyed dancing ya.

Tina, the in law's doggie! so cute I begin to miss magix.

After couples of hours, we finished and packed up the whole venue then head our way back.
Saw this interesting store selling vege and fruits along the way.

.
Uncle needed to grab some plants so brought us to this biggest plant and construction vendor.
It is so huge and interesting place for DIY.
It is a real DIY place.

Whatever flower you name it they almost have it!
Below are tomata plant, chilli plant, melon etc....

Many many many pretty flowers are indeed my first time seeing.

End of the 3 days in a breeze.... :)
We finally get to go out by ourselves the next day.
I will try to update alittle more again .. b4 flying again.
