Finally meet up is possible on this day in March.
A suggested and curious location for a seem good deal buffet yakiniku. I think around $29++?


Starters are not bad and quite a different variety like fried fillet, pork and california sushi.
Chawanmushi taste ok too.

But limited choices of sauces and the items for grill were only so so not exactly very fresh or so well marinated. Thus grilling skill have to be bucked up as food become tough v fast.

As front portion of hair is flat, tried to braid one of the side to avoid it keep sliding down.

In fact we really like their fried fish soup mee hoon.

Personally I don't really like fried fish in such fish soup style but this is really good! And fish soup is really nice, thick and tasty.

.

Just that the set meal cost (with drink & dessert) about $14.90++ which is not so cheap for fish soup.

Highly recommended to try at least once if you are around this corner :)

I wanted to grap a pair of boots for travel but I ended up buying from Uniqlo Ions. Ok it doesnt make sense to buy Uniqlo since I will be gtg to Japan 'soon' but below gloss jacket was sales item :)

I really like it especially after tired on. And it is last piece in S. I guess it was just waiting for me right ?? :p (discounted : $49.90).

The material is so light or thin that i could wear it locally too. I like the glossy look on this bomber jacket :)

Got 2 pairs of demin leggings ($39.90 each) in different tones but both dark.

Jeans are warm to me nowadays and also if its really tight, really do restrict movement.

Demin leggings are love now. I wear it more often now and it can create the skinny jeans look and surprisingly it didnt make my fat legs look fatter.

Something arrived from overseas again :) VICTORIA'S SECRET!!

Got a undergarments and a knitted dress which i bot a S size which was alittle big for me. Shld have chosen XS!

Abit sad but will try to wear unless i can sell to someone who likes and fits it.



The bra's material is great! Very soft and comfortable even the colour is so nice in real. The colour is called papaya ahhaa.

This month (March) was really spendthift and bad discpline month! The month is not even over yet and I am buying qte abit from local BS, local boutiques as well as overseas online stores too :(

Maybe I knew I couldnt go Japan anymore so its so nature I started to spread my travel fund around easily haiz..

But then now i might have a new arrangement coming up so I am happy about the new fact I have built for myself; "H & M here I come!!"

Atomic reactors cannot cause a nuclear blast

Guess everyone is following closely to the disaster that hits Japan, earthquake, tsumami and now nuclear or radiation issue is receving more attention.

Who is not worried right? With all the imagination stiring descriptive reports from different sources, I was almost led to believe that it is nearing ......... :(

The Shaky day - Japan Tsunami (11 Mar 2011) !!

Duno if the fate is almost near for me to witness as I am bound to fly to Tokyo in less than 2 weeks!

When I heard this news, was busy checking out my friends and colleagues in Japan are ok!

A friend working in Tokyo feedback that shake was really intense but Tokyo seems ok so far.





Japanese colleague sound ok too except poor them cant get home fast as all trains has stopped due to lotsa aftermath shakes. I wonder if they are going to stay overnight in the office!

Hope all the folks are well and ok in Japan!

One shopping that you can't make it loots...

Went on with some "window"shop on a pre-launch at the east over one weekend.




Like it that the pantry/kitchen is an individual section.
The view was ok. Big windows and bigger wardrobe are love :) Cleverly stretch of wardrobe was laid along the corridor of bedroom.


Not 100% done up.




Was more curious of the penthouse upstairs too.
The stairway in the penthse is first to welcome the entrance.


Layout is similar on 1st floor on this penthouse

Ok more excited to find out about upstairs


Staircase doesnt exactly give me that sense of safety.
Here is the master bedroom which can link direct to outdoor of the top floor.

Alittle wasted the piece of big area just empty and no design.....
View was ok too, no blockage due to highway just across :(



Interesting part is that the washroom is both accessible from bedroom and outside. Its good when you make an outdoor jucuzzi outside hahaa.

And the walk in wardrobe in room also link to the wash room, which is qte clever in neaty creating sections and usage of odd space.

The 1st level was considered huge.

Anyway property prices in Singapore are all sliding upwards fast.... every inch is alot of money :p

I look sorta preggy as it goes flare in right under bust line.

OK main root cause - shortie has higher tendency to steer towards preggy image for certain range of clothes..

So I will try to tame it with a belt during my less fatty feeling days.

Otherwise it could make a good buffet dress too :)

New Nerd

Not a good way to welcome te year ...

But getting old really dun leave you with much choices but too much lappy facing, online shoppings :p and hours glueing for editing works speed up process of merging my life to the nerdy world.

Astigmatism has been trying to find me during the younger years. It was so little then which was still ok. Lately been seeing more of double images, overexposed brightness and especially, difficulties increase in confirming on 6 or 8 or B or 9 or D ahhaa.

Still there it goes the first pair of 'real' spec in life. haha ok I sucks in specs... :(

But mainly for night driving & lappy facing :p

In fact it took me some times to find the right size spec as my face seems to be alittle narrow for most spec or either it tends to touch/rest on my cheek.

Love Natelie from her days of "The Professional".

Her Dior advert looks simply gorgeous, alittle sad about the twist into latest's no-ad-campaign rule from her with the latest big commotion of Dior or rather dismissal of John Galliano.

If you haven't know yet:

On 25 February 2011, Dior announced that it had suspended Galliano following his arrest over an alleged anti-semitic assault in a Paris bar. 3 days later, British tabloid newspaper The Sun posted a video on their website showing Galliano in another incident at the same bar, hurling anti-semitic insults at a group of Italian women and declaring "I love Hitler... People like you would be dead. Your mothers, your forefathers would all be fucking gassed." This incident happened just before Paris Fashion Week for Autumn/Winter 2011/2012. It remains unconfirmed whether or not the collections for Dior and his own label will debut.

Natalie Portman as Jewish actress whose great-grandparents were killed in Auschwitz, had an endorsement contract with Dior for its Miss Dior Cherie fragrance. In a statement, she expressed "disgust" at John Galliano's anti-semitic comments.

Portman said: “I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano’s comments that surfaced today...I hope at the very least, these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon combating these still-existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful.”

On 1 March 2011, Dior announced that it had begun procedures of dismissal for Galliano, with Dior's chief executive Sidney Toledano stating "I very firmly condemn what was said by John Galliano". Full Pail Feb 2011

Ok some friends hinted me that they can only see my current on-going like 3 months later...So here I am making the greatest effort to update the very very latest one :p

So dun suan me hor...

I was thinking of doing "half pail" Feb with only latest part of Feb but since today is like the first day of brand new March, its the perfect time to do a once and for all wrap up of Feb 2011.

Otherwise the gap of Want and Action is getting just bigger again. I am not even dare to do a reflection post for the fresh start you know like what I shld achieve for this year blah blah blah.....it doesnt seem to happen hahaa! Bcos the older I get the more confused and lost i seem to be. Mid life crisis??

Self reflection is more meaningful than written "reflection wannabe". Wait till i sorted out my tots. I will ink to remind myself the outcome of the battle within myself.

There it goes, the worthless almost 28 days of Feb in my world :p ...

Just last weekend, brought magix to groom. Almost the longest time she havent get her deserved grooming with her last major surgery in last Oct.



Her usual groomer left our last groom plc and started her own shop along Kampong Bahru, so near my house! It is so convenient to bring her here.



How cute and pretty is her new shop - Dollhouse Pets.
Meaning every pet in her shop will become as pretty as a doll haha.
She never fail Magix in turning her neat and pretty in the very silky terrier style so far :)
Oh cos she has a silky terrier gal herself.



And I love it here where the doggies are free to roam ard freely making friends.

The poodle is just too cute and friendly to ignore!

See, i was just sitting down to wait and she immediately jumped up to my lap :)
Feel so cuddly to be surrounded with the pretty doggies..

She is cute isnt she? I want a poodle too!


There were 2 other silky terriers there.
Looks like Magix right?? The left hand picture is owner's silky :)

Saw this email mailer and was really curious abt the plum blossom smell as I really like their cherry blossom series. So over the weekend while errands at vivo specially dropped L'Occitane to check it out.

It was quite nice and I wanted to try out the shower polisher gel. Since its no where near $160, there is definately no freebie.



Then a kind tourist/customer queuing in front offered me the free gift as I was getting something from the new seasonal series. She had purchased far more than the required amount but not anything from the new seasonal series and is not keen on the free gift hahaa...

So I thanked and told her if that is not much of the trouble for her then I am most glad to take the offer :o

There I was a happy and super satisfied customer that day :p YEAH!

Previous time when I was trying to get in, they told me waiting time is at least 40mins.... omg

Finally this day came earlier and no need to Q!

The whole time b4 food was served I was all curious about the conveyor belt that extended to the tables.

The only thing I was impressed was food like sashimi or sushi will delivered directly to your table by the conveyor belt...

.

My sashimi turned/came in automatically to my table!

Tried the kyushu ramen with fried pork, even added sides of corn and an egg for the ramen.

Big eater hor...

I don't know what is the Q about Tampopo.

Not the taste you will crave for to queue definately.

For kyushu ramen, it is rather salty to me. The fried katsu also ntg to rave about.

Personally I prefer katsu from Tonkichi and Curry flavour.
I probably will give my trys to other Japanese restaurants than revisit this.

Just a restaurant at Yuan Ching area as traffic was a killer, it would probably take more than an hour to get to the town on this particular wet friday :(

So decided to just grab a dinner nearby.

visited the highly raved Itacho Sushi... It seemed forever long queue whenever I passed by
This day we tried a later dinner to avoid the queue

Ordered also the minced Otoro with tasting portion rice and scallop sushi.


Err if my opinion is really worth 2 cents - The taste is ok but definately not worth the Q....the sashimi was not one of the freshest I have tasted too.... Mmmmm you decide.

Found this fish steamboat at Katong that is really quite good.
Recommend their fish meat noodles too where you could squeeze it out yourself - very fun!



Of cos CNY and featuring one of my fave food where I can eat for 16 days during whole of CNY cos i will miss for the whole year after this ....Yes Yusheng! yeah!

Come on, Jan and Feb are official spendthift months....You wont believe if I didnt buy anything right.

Finally got rid of my old Paul & Joe creme press powder and got myself a new Chanel press powder to try out. I actually really love the thin case of Paul and Joe. It is no fuss in my make up pouch. But well the donut sponge is really not pleasant looking, in fact it is the 2nd sponge i got.

But I have to be really careful of the type of powder as my skin very dry and sensitive to rash.



Oh ya got this too MAC fix+ (spray on) to fix the make up.
Just tried and its not bad!
It could 'fix' your ready make up nicely and when it dries, it give you this slight radiant look.


Was attracted to L'officiel's freebie and got one.
I am happy with the free Lancome Blanc Neuro white night cream :) Whitening is always on top list been born a coffee baby.
So curiousity strategy does work.


Yippie...got a pair of Guess strappy heels and a random pair I got from Isetan which its like love at first sight. Its velvet material!


This necklace/ hairband from Mphosis really interesting and useful :) Got it during last shopping with foody and ling. Ling also got herself one!


Another random stripey ribbon hair band i got when i was in jurong point.
Err y so many hairbands? I don't know Y but I will get excited when i spot pretty hair bands.
Useful to keep my flat fringe up and proper too especially when working.

Watched quite a few movies in a short month


UNKNOWN - Personally its just so so to me.
Ok action blah blah it all have - story that you will link to Bourne Identity. It will not leave much impression in me for the days to come.


BLACK SWAN - Yes yes Like!
I understand she had prepared this movie for one year ahead with dancing lessons.
Natelie Portman is brilliant really! The acting talent is probably in born. Movie like "The Professional" with her starring definately linger in my mind from then till now...



Just Go With it - hahaa unfortunately I like this too... haha
I cant stand Adam Sandler at the same time ahhaa The whole movie is so him and those very stupid 'jokes' he included in the movie, I hate to say make me laughed ahhaa. But i must say its quite a pair, the chemisty btw Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler is great, natural and very enjoyable to watch.

I must also say Aniston's kid daughter with British accent is good! hahaa



The Rite - My kinda Valentines' Day movie choice.

I just cant resist when i see something that seem like a worthy horror or thriller. Yes like!!

No cheap thrill...its real chill. It is definitely a refreshing break from the conventional plot seen in other movies of the same theme.

It also explores through many questions that occur to any logical person when faced with the idea of demons and possession in the modern times.

Very convincing performances from the actors and actresses.
