Sawadika Bangkok.. 14-17 Aug 2008

Off we flew to BKK on 14-17 Aug 2008 to destress, shopping and with hope of better feng shui haha when back.

Stayed at Novotel @ Siam Sq this round and special privilege to stay at the Junior Suite under 'special invitation'

It is in very good location which only needs just 3 minutes' walk to Siam Square.



Messing up in progress the moment we checked in...

We have breakfast every morning here, chic ah.

Then the same night, we were invited to a local thai Sharkfin restaurant by the local vendor.

He speaks really good English with American accent. Learnt some thai from him.

My Thai now learnt in 2008 is down the drain ahhaa its not easy for me with 5 syllabus of tones unlike our hanyin pinyin. During the conversation, he also invited us to his big house for party supposingly can hold up to 100 pax, nt even mention the garage has to keep his 4 cars too. (Oh..)

We had good red wines too...he brought 5-6 bottles to the restaurant! Considered quite alot we been drinking right after the filling dinner!

Did i tell you.......the sharkfin was very delicious! Quality thick soup with shark fin chunkies in hot claypot, fixing some fresh bean sprouts onto it........wow i think i can give up every food for that.

I din dare to ask for one more pot......hahaa

We went night mkt after this and oink straight after....

Blah blah blah below are items done next day without pics:

1) met up with my Japanese friend who stations in Bangkok for work. just some catching up over dim sums

2) went Qi Shisedio Salon at Siam Sq for a hair cut and some colour via recommendation by Xen. All stylist are Japanese trained and most can speak English.

3) Shop abit at Siam sq, bot a nice black dress in Zara there. (afraid i cant find the same thing in SIN)

There at night here we finally met up with Dave and Drama Siao for simple thai steamboat cos it was raining heavily.

Then we flagging cab to go party!!

Finally we hop on a tutu haha no cab its my first time on tutu, its not cheap and its scary...! i so afraid been thrown out or throw up ahha... To them, time is money.

We safely reached RCA!! Its happening here!

We randomly walked into one we think it looks nice....

I miss these PEPSI BOTTLES!! look abit sua ku to take pic. Thats the price of developing fast.

Fix our hair after it stood up from the terrifying tutu..

Indeed it is much happening here than in SIN or KL. Your body moves the moment you enter the club and other time you will do other looney things...

I will be back....Yes! or WE!

Wakie the next morning and met the guys for praying and shoppings...

On our way back to hotel....we saw double rainbows!! Can you figure out?? It just there right beside our hotel.

Asked dave to take rainbow with me in there....he clicked totally at a very salah direction.

After putting the loots at hotel, we went dinner and shopping at night market called someting like wat 'lum' mkt. haha...That's why my Thai cant make it!

Then it was party the last night. Miss foody and I went relax for massages and scrub.... So relax we felt asleep and forgot the guys waiting for us at RCA to finish the bottle.

So that night we clubbed a shortest record of 15mins! Cos their club mainly closed at 2am!! That is super early. Certain nights in SIN, i only started to reach at 2am! Kana con.

We chop chop with the photos in there and gulped our drinks :(

All kinda reluntant to move off... haha

Rather buay kum wan.

At last...our legs moved.

Real elephant out side the club??? i tot i was half drunk. Miss foody screamed when she realised the fact this 大笨象 is real and standing right beside her! haha

Regained her calm

Dave bot foods for poor jumbo...he gotta work at such a time when still a kid.

We saw him tear...maybe its tired or sad....Poor boy.

I fed him too with one more packet...poor boy :( i hope you get enaf food and money today and can get home early and sleep....hope your owner give you enaf to eat and would not give you a hard time :(

Thats it! haha early flight next morning yawn....it was 3+ then.

Jumbo i will come back and visit you when i am back to bkk n RCA again :) i buy you 10 packets then!
