It is CNY 2009 again!! Damn fast!

The reunion dinner is the most important meal to begin the CNY. This year the eve falls on the weekend thus, timing is no issue.
.
We dine out so that my parents do not need to worry about cooking and housework. They deserve this meal. No matter what we eat or where we eat, as long as the members are all intact = REUNION DINNER.
.
Good thing about eating out is no worry about wash up! Besides that we get to relax alittle outside with the CNY atmosphere to subsitute the silly TV with boring predictable program :p

While the restaurant is not ready for our reservation yet due to the usual cny crowd, we have fun alittle here and there and entertaining the destroyer :p

Then finally we got to eat! So hungry. The food was quite satisfactory at such a cny rush work/ catering quality. The mini buddha jump over the wall is good!
Then i was sending my personalised CNY msgs around....every word filled with tots straight from my lil heart lor! :p
Then it was the chinatown crazy pushing effort chew.....but kinda like a first reunion in a full force thus still kinda a happy thing ahha.
As it was bz bz Jan, i didnt manage to book the mani/pedi slot last minutes. I did my own nails on wee hours of eve lor! Paiseh! haha Ok ppl were asking me how come the top portion is dark dark. It is supposed to be shiny silver but i could only grab this bottle of thick consistency nail polish for nail art purpose. Ok my thrimming sucks! But it looks decent right :p
Magix also pocketed few ang baos that night! She is able to pay herself at Pet Lover Centre now, isnt it great!!

THE NEXT DAY - it was feast again...... (faint). Steamboat party! But i ate alot still.

I SERIOUSLY LOVE YUSHENG! I can eat it everyday for the whole cny season you noe?? After consideration that i got to wait for 1 whole year to eat that again, I rephrase : i might also able to eat twice a day for 15 days hahhaa!

We brought him to Zhou's kitchen at Anchor Point, Alexandra this day.
Ordered the CNY dinner with Peng Cai! Means all the good yummies in one pot. The very traditional HK style food! But in HK, it is available at all season, just that where is selling and if it is good.
After trying both peng cai at ah Yat Seafood restaurant and here at Zhou's, i now think that Ah Yat taste better for the peng cai :)
Give a try nxt CNY if you havent and if you dun mind the sudden increase in calories and cholesterol.

It is quite a cosy place, probably been at this branch, quiet and having individual building by its own.
