But I am a big fan of Okonomiya! So i was been surprised one day with this Lunch at an Okonomiya Restaurant. There isnt many shops selling this here in the sunny island.
I actually prefer Hiroshima style with udon or soba in it. But seems like Tokyo / Osaka style is more common ard, with lotsa flour instead of noodles. Probably i am quite a udon person, that explains.


I have to mention the Chawanmushi served in a very unique way. Instead of the usual little chuwanmushi cup, it is been steamed in a small radish bowl, with the radish flesh emptied. Just like our chinese style soup served in winter melon bowl.

My Okonomiyaki~~!!

Mmmm it is 3.5* out of 5 for me.
I still have the baseline from the Hiroshima 'fu' /style Okomomiya (広島風お好み焼き) in Takashima which was my fave but guess they re-locate and escaped from me since then :(
Their taste is still in my little heart.
Please tell me if you have other good Okonomiya restaurants around... :)
