BIOTHERM Biocils Make-up Removal Gel for Sensitive eyes

I happened to be reviewing Biore's Jelly Make-up removal and tot it would be good to add on a short post to share personal review with my balance Biotherm gel eye make-up removal here too.

My Biotherm Story
I used to love Biotherm alot and that was the very very first brand I started off my skincare remedy. I used to swim regularly and one of my peers who was older than me warned me not to take for granted and start off skin care when young. Actually I was not that young then about 22 or 23.

And I was been introduced to Biotherm, obviously cos she was diligent user of Biotherm.

That explains why I been using Biotherm removal too and I like the idea of separating removal for face and eyes as the skin texture and thickness is different.

I have tried the oil based for eyes too which claim to be able to do express removal.

But in comparison, I still prefer this GEL one for normal routine as eyes are so sensitive, I do not mind taking own sweet time to remove slowly.

Being lazy, I didn't do much comparisons too or I did not find a miracle one that could do miracle.
Not even Shu uemura or Fancl.

Anyway here it goes...

BIOTHERM Biocils Make-up Removal Gel for Sensitive eyes

BIOTHERM Biocils Make-up Removal Gel on hand.

To be frank the consistency is alittle strange, a little slimy yet not watery.

Forgot to include the picture but I usually squeeze out 1-2 drops, spread on a cotton pad and apply (rubbing) it on my eyes.

After rubbing around say in about 6-7 medium hard strokes, below is the results.

The waterproof eyeliner cannot be cleaned off thoroughly as show in above pic especially for fans of tightlining (lining the underside of the top lash/ waterline).

Although I do not have mascara on this day, this gel removal definately cannot remove your mascara thoroughly without removing few of your lashes. Trust me it is really not for removing mascara.

Actually now I think of it, I find this remover a little drying afterwards. The skin around your eyes does feel really clean and fresh after the eye make up is removed. It could clean away the eye make up but not a good job in waterproof eyeliner.

But it is gentle enough as it aims to take extra care for sensitive eyes especially for those not suitable for oil base.

I was using it for longest time cos it is indeed cooling and calming for my eyes when removing its make up AND I didnt want to waste my S$49 too (Shy....) haha.

New Decision:
But after trying Biore Jelly Make-up removal, I have decided I won't be re-buying any Biotherm removal again.

I will use and monitor Biore Jelly Make-up Removal till there is another fabulous one :)

Hope the little balance removal review here could help some who are even considering of this particular one.
