Wine Glass @ Keppel Bay got a new look! - 21 Mar 2010

This day another impromtu meet up at Wine Glass @ Keppel Bay.

We realised Wine Glass has got a new look already.

It rain shortly we reached.

Another cold cold day...

.

Before the change....it was darker and more sleek look with round big island bar counter as the focus - lotsa beach chairs and tall tables then.

Cosy, lounge look, lotsa comfy and drowsiness induced lounge sofas...

When evening comes....it feels more sleepy ahaha.

Before i feel sleepy... better take the opportunity to photo around with the new fresh slsspy look :p

Ok i blurred the pics cos i have comments that these steer towards the sleezy look ahhaa...

But it was too comfortable in the sofa that i am almost dozing off with some red wine...

oh yes as usual they still maintaining the 1 for 1 by glass or bottle from 6-9pm.

Very good offer..

By evening, we are ready to snack...pizza is a good temp cure to curb some craving.

If you have urge for hotel lounge chill, could consider Wine Glass thou there isnt any live band.

I prefer soft background musics..

Oh yes try the glassy stairway with irresistible lengthy legs enhancement ability.. ahahahhaa

Tajimaya Vivo & Sentosa IR - 20 March 2010

Firstly,

Brunch at TAJIMAYA VIVO CITY

I remember its a very cold day today...or rather cool...? I had been sneezing the moment i woke up.

.

Well been here a few times but I was not aware of the Brunch buffet till today, when a treat from friend.

.
I was still pretty stone and puffy as i woke like 1+pm and here i am for a brunch ahaha....


.

For everyone who happen to chance here....I had specially took a pic of the brunch buffet menu for your sake :)

.

All are free flow within 120 mins except wagyu beef only will be one time serving per pax.

.

Oh ya i always love their sashimi salmon and swordfish or Kajiki. Pretty fresh.

I miss the free flow Kajiki again...

.

Another recommendation is their Austrialian Rosu and the chickens are nice...
.

.

Ohh yes i also like their sauces esp the one for pork and chicken...

.

Although their free flow menu might not seem too wide in variety, it is really filling and enough for brunch bbq. I felt super full!

.

So are the big guys....

.

It is still not that cheap enough but still worth a try if you pop by that area and at that timing.

Brunch buffet is only for weekends.

Usually. the set dinner for 2 already cost like $70++ and no sashimi :(

All the talkings and eating came out with a very Impromptu visit to Sentosa as few of them havent visit yet.

An idle Mid March day & scarletique mood

sometime in mid March because it was an idle day thus cant remember when...

A day the stomach crave for Vietnamese.

Thus was here at Harbour front - The Orange Lantern.

.

I always like this dish - the vermicelli with grill chicken and the sweet sour fish sauce YUM!
Oh this version come with a choice of spring roll or sugar cane chicken.

Isn't vietnamese coffee's serving is interesting?

haha this is one of my fave shop in vivo - the candy empire!

& the things i always always always will crave for is actually GUMMMMMMIES!

i Swear i can finish a bag of $8 in 2 days hahaa :)

in fact 1 day is fine with me but there will be people around me who slow me down from overdosing of sugar hahaa...

.

Today i got a bag of $7.15.

(i am good - i always know when to stop to know that it more or less reaches ard $8)

This truely an unhealthy shopping day.

After gummy...its CHIPS yeah. Yes Tyrrells is good but its not cheap $5.15 for a pack like this...mmm that will last me for a week.

Oh yes, wearing one of Scarletique's new release...a piece i cant resist but kept one myself haha...

It comes in sweet vibrant pink too but they said my wardrobe has too much pinkie. :p

Aburiya / Sushi Tei - mid March 2010

ABURIYA Grill @ The Quayside

Our toy catcher towkay gave us a treat here at Aburiya grill that he highly recommends.

.

See our table is filled with foods !


.

Aburiya is located at The Quayside, by the bridge / river.

I like the atmposhere here....have long wanted to try out some stalls here.

It was very near to the Thai food we had the other time at Robertson Quay.

.

In fact the grills are yummy! Well marinated but not over seasoned.

You could order a set meal for 2 of S$70++ with reasonable items included.

Just that i find it alittle pricey.....

I realised the hot /cold green tea is priced $3/pax.

Please note only hot green tea could be replenished but not for the cold one....weird.

The other day when we celebrated his birthday was teppanyaki....in case you tot we are freak of grill ahhaa..

.

But ya i been having lotsa foods lately and lotsa japs especially....

SUSHI TEI @ Ngee Ann City
with my buddy gals....


In short notice....

Yea it is Japanese again. I was trying to suggest Chinese haha but I was alittle too late when i found myself with them in Sushi Tei.

.

Gotta book a Q to wait for 30mins till they call us.

We went shopping alittle at Takashimaya

Foods for sharing - but i hate that soft shell crab....looks ugly and err ok i am really not a seafood lover at all, except sashimi fish and fish ahhaaa...

.

Think Sushi Tei is dropping their quality - the spring roll is oily, cold and maybe cos of that tasted pretty yucky.

Other foods are so so...yes pretty so so.

.

But well the main motive is the chit chat, juz a decent place to drink while thirsty and stuff some food in mouth when we paused those talkings ahaha

.

Nice catch up - but in no time we will be scheduling a celebration for our 3 years old princess enru whose the mummy is not here this day due to busy busy mum schedules...

Omg its dinner steamboat again

haha with those I could eat real lot without being shy :p

My brother, Ray 'jo' us to eat at his place for impromptu steamboat dinner! How nice.

That was the Xmas voucher last year i got him and they went to get a steamboat pot!

As my sis-in-law is a hongkonger & so steamboat has never been off their mind ahhaa...
..

What you see here is only a portion of the full range of food. :p

You see the little destroyer been so good eat & eat...its a scene seldom come by nowadays.

.

I brought red wines too ahhaa ya for steamboat cos usually red wine is only appreciated by me and Ray in the family.

.

After massive eating, we actually just ate half of all these! oh....

I think they have to steamboat themselves for the week if the leftover are not to be wasted ahha.

My nephew might have his fave fishballs, meatballs etc for the week too...wooo
.

I love such dinner although lotsa foods are usually wasted ahaha but its so fun eating this way...talking nonsenses and the younger time when we did things without thinking :p

.

The fun is that some jokes are only meant for us to laugh :)

We were feasting at Lai Lai Kitchen Jurong Point.

A few shots here and there but there were few bad ones hahaa

we finally got one or two really ready and proper ones.

I was having my fave stuff - curry udon...!

Err it was nt super nice but ok.

I think the mee sua taste better but for the price of the set, it should be considered a worth price to try :)

Thanks to the dear guys for the invitation :)

Think i have stopped coming here since schooling time.

I didnt even know it still exists ahhaa...

BUt well its an invitation, I think its best to be grateful and enjoy :)

.

Btw, it is operated under Breeks now...

Its pretty junkies.

And especially the junky me likes to fried / BBQ almost everything from balls to meats, veges to mushrooms ahaha...

.

However i must say, the variety is still rather wide especially meat for BBQ in different marinates.

You name it, they have it.

I specially like the teriyaki flavour.

The tom yum one sounds interesting but errr sadly yucky.

.

I was too full and usually no much interest in the desserts sorry no comment :p

.

We have rather big group here and how can we miss a group pic since it take ages to gather such a number ....and yes in a wide age group too :)

.

We specially chosen a background with the Esplanade ahaa,

err...yup for me, I dont think i will suggest or be back here to dine in case of choice available.

But there is always never a bored minute with them around.

Thus no matter hw not so tasty the food is, you could still emerge in happiness while eating :)
