when we acted tourist in Singapore....

I was rather excited to visit Sentosa again - the place that just 5 min drive away can make us prettty excited and look forward ahaha

.

My parents were looking forward too to visit the new IR (although its not fully opened yet) and to visit our own official gambling den ahaha yes the casino.

.

The entry - carpark is huge and looked somehow smilar to the one at Suntec's.

.

This day they closed a big section of carpark for some events and we went into another area and we got totally lost walking in the maze of Resort World's convention centre.

.

REMEMBER -

NEVER GO INTO THE CONVENTION CENTRE.

OTHERWISE FIND YOUR WAY OUT OF THE CONVENTION CENTRE

TO GET TO IR'S HEART

ok after 15min of walking round & round in there we finally got out of it and went thru the carpark and reach this damn place....

.

There are 6 hotels at Sentosa's Resort World so do not get mixed up.

Reached Sentosa abt 5+pm ......Yup pretty packed!

The place where Singaporean Q and pay for the $100 levy to Casino.

OK otherwise you could pay $2k for unlimited entry within 1 year.

Hahhaa sorry the English verison is all crowded so i took pic of the Mandarin one.

OK i got v sian cos we realised that our dear daddy forgot to bring his ID along for the levy. I think he took it out to do something the previous night la.

.

So that goes my casino trip !! :(

Welll its no choice.

We have to walk around then to act tourist...

We went up the escalator from casino and we landed up here.....pretty refreshing

BUt v warm lor.....

Ok actually the mist is pretty cooling la...hahaa

I still cant believe the fact that the Universal Studio is right here staying permanently in Singapore.... I mean it makes Singapore feel like somewhere overseas....as u noe our sunny island is always boring.

When i was in Japan, Kansai years back, the call their Universal Studio Japan- 'USJ'

Aiyo suddenly the feel make me yearn for Japan and brought me back to the Kansai days, now i realised its almost 10 years back! scary!

I mean the globe la - is so damn big in Japan but in Sg.......like miniature?

Ok now i feel like doing a post on my homestay days...... last time blog was not even a trend lor..

BACK TO REALITY...

there are still many parts under construction in the theme park.

All the booths for tickets still remain closed too.

this whole stretch of shops havent open

it feel like overseas in pictures ahhaa

Daddy pointed over the merlion section that he is keen in.

My mum looks grouchy ahaha cos of the hot hot sun la...

When this section has ntg much to explore, we went down and right into the air con area at last!

This where all the luxury shops gathered...

The new Rolls Royce Ghost...

It looked much smaller on print but to me it didnt appear that small in real compare to the older version.

Ghost emphasis on smaller but better ...

In USA, Victoria Secret is so glam having the luxury of space...

But its such a tiny store here as the first store in SIN.

.

This is a passage that i like....

Very sleek and feel like a church haha

Almost 7+pm, we came to Robertson Quay for dinner

it is packed as usual on a wkend.

.

Thai food here is quite authentic

Brought my parents here after tested for few times.

.

Ntg glam juz a cosy little rstn at a corner.

Ordered.

Tom yum soup

Pad Thai

Pineapple fried rice

Fish cake

& this stir fried fish

Pad thai is very nice.....yum yum yummy

I like thai food la but it usually quite oily so i will try to avoid if i can...

.

Oily ya

So a scroll along the river under romantic lighting might be good ahaha...

It is sometimes since i havent do all these with my parents.

Admiring that penthouse opp the river with lights on...

Ok i will buy over when i am rich then i can swim over the shore to eat thai & jap everyday ahahaa

.

Some weekends to spend with family could be more meaningful than just chilling out there with friends.

.

I like how it feel.

When we were young, they made sacrificise and go thru hardship to provide us with better life and of cos they try to increase family time with us....fulfill what we really want then.

.

A simple dinner with them now = a Macdonalds meal out with us when we were tots.

.

:) i have tot of another dinner place to bring them.

.

Simplest thing could be the most important thing.
