Windy Australia, Melbourne Day 3

AUSTRALIA, MELBOURNE DAY 3
(May 2012)

1

Awake at our farm stay and found our happy companions, Andy and Jack again no fail waiting at our porch.
It was so chilly outside, poor boys...
They were waiting for us to wake to play with them.

And the kitty whose skill is great in dozing off in perfect balance again just right at our porch.

Saying good bye is always hard.
I am sure in less than a day, the boys will forget us. The first thing I spent my aussie dollars was to buy toys and treats for them...
They were so overjoyed!
2

One last glance at our beautiful area staring at our lodge every day.
3

No matter young or old, we totally looking right from the bed hhaa
4

4a

Here our last reunion photo at the farm with smart Jack boy!
We all love this photo alot.
5

There sadly we set our way off biddng goodbye to the little cute rascals.
Weather was rather sad too. There was drizzle.
6

XL is the first driver for the day, lets give her applaud as the barely drive more than 5x after getting her license haha.
8a

And letting the usuals rest behind, I am the Navigator instead.
9

10

We reached GORGE CHOCOLATE FACTORY in just about 10 mins.
Almost all are fresh chocolate by hand made.

The house that is next to the shop/factory belong to gorge owner's family.
What a convenient way to work everyday!

They were washing up but we could see the done cheese and they are trying to keep them in the kitchen.
31a

The candies were really tempting to me.
34

Most of us have coffee and one of the friends is crazy over Honeycomb Milk where is not easily available in Singapore.
31b

Everywhere we go, I suggested a self timer group photo to mark our destinations.
35

Proceeded further and its time to eat!
Randomly stopped over at Red Rooster to fill our stomach.
36

The taste was ok, not too fantastic but not too bad.
37

The driver who need her rest from now.
38

It was abit colder today at 11 degree.
39

After driving for about 2 hours through the long long highways, scary city roads with crowded car and human traffic, we finally reached the Melbourne City and to our specific desination.
41

Tram is the most common and main public transport in the Melbourne City

42

Here we are where we returned our car.
And thanks to the gals' good sourcing and arrangement, the apartment was just at the corner in 1 min walk.
43a

Da da!!
Think it was 25th floor.
44

It was almost all white with big balcony and quit spacious to accomodate us all!
45

The white sofa can be converted into a sofa bed too.
46

There were 2 bedrooms, One with 2 single beds.
47

2nd one with one King size bed.
48

Everything is well equiped.
There was a dish washer too! Save our work.
Besides that, the room come with microwave and Samsung washing machine.

57

It was really good view at 25th floor.
It will be our snacking and wining place at night!

60

61

After settled down, we went out for dinner!
62

Approaching the central area by foot of course with some short episodes of lost of way.

62a

We are doing Vietnamese tonight as it was greatly recommended by Fen & Fang
Later I understand it was really popular shop here.
64a

Look at the group and there were ppl queuing outside to.
67

After 20 mins' of wait, we were finally in and we were made to sit in separate tables as it was too crowded.

My order!
I always love dried noodles with fish sauce.
It was in quite a huge portion too.
69

Beef noodles soup which is the most most popular dish here.
70

Fang's chicken noodle soup.
I tasted and realised it was soooooooooo good.
I understand now whey they greatly recommended and it is sooooo crowded.
71

Fen ordered chicken soup too and they got it in L size!
